See what JavaScript changes and where problem links appear

New crawls show original and rendered metadata side by side, with sampled anchor text and link placement to help you find the source of a problem.

New Salience crawls can show how JavaScript changes a page's title, canonical URL or noindex metadata, with the original HTML and rendered observations side by side. Enable Render JavaScript where needed when starting a crawl; the audit distinguishes successful checks from pages that could not be checked.

Link findings now include sampled linking pages, anchor text and whether the link appears in navigation, the footer or the page body. Together with actual search-bot visits, this helps you find and prioritize the source of a problem.

Run a new Salience crawl to collect this evidence. Rendering is selective and budgeted, and link details are samples rather than a complete list of occurrences. Existing crawls and uploaded exports still work; missing evidence does not mean a check passed.

The same evidence is available through the existing Crawl Audit API and MCP tool, and in salience crawl-audit --json.
